SEONGNAM CHUNG GENERAL HOSPITAL
1. The Shoulder and Knee Joint Center
- The shoulder and knee joints arthroplasty is performed on patients with degenerative arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and post-traumatic arthritis. In addition, this arthroplasty is performing on patients with daily life difficulties such as ruptured rotator cuff, calcific tendonitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
2. The Hip Joint Center
- Hip arthroplasty is performing on patients with degenerative hip arthritis, arthrosis, aseptic necrosis, after previous infectious diseases or injuries. Since 2014, the world-famous orthopedic surgeon, Honored Doctor of Korea in the hip joint replacement, Dr. Yoo Myung Chul, has been operating in our hospital. The surgery is performing in various ways. It depends on the age, the level patient's motor activity, and other methods such as grinding, partial arthroplasty, or complete replacement of the joint.
3. The Hand and Foot Surgery and Microsurgery Center
- Since 2018, Honored Doctor Han Chung Soo, the best microsurgeon of Korea, also the President of the Korean Society of Orthopedic Surgeons, has been working in The General Hospital Chung. The doctor deals with microsurgery of the wrist, reconstruction of post-traumatic complications of the extremities, reconstruction of nerve palsy, including paralysis of the brachial plexus, treatment of the musculoskeletal system, malignant neoplasms, reconstruction using microsurgical methods, as well as the latest treatment methods, including allotransplantation.
4. Stem Cell Treatment Center
- The General Hospital Chung established a stem cell treatment center in 2015. This treatment is an innovative method of restoring articular cartilage, allowing to patient use their joints longer. Stem cell therapy is the safest treatment for degenerative arthritis as it uses the patient's stem cells. At the same time, the patient can receive pain-relieving injections into the damaged cartilage.
5. Health Promotion Center
- It is the function test of the body through advanced medical equipment to detect the disease in the early asymptomatic period. We aim to discover the disease early and detect the abnormality of the body by carrying out a concentrated examination of many items in a short time. Patients can choose the most appropriate program considering their existing health risk factors and diseases, gender, age and cost.
